Essie Sable Collar - swatches and review.

Hello there!

Today I have a treat for you - a real stunner. I do say it about a lot of polishes but this one is definitely going to my favorite polishes of 2014 pile. Have a look at Sable Collar by Essie:

Wow. I didnt think much about this one when I saw it in the stores - I guess the lighting wasnt good but when the sale came and Sable Collar was a part of it I took this beauty home. I passed great light in the store while looking at it and I literally ran to pay for it just in case someone would snap it from my hands and run away with it. I was like "MY PRECIOUS!!!!!!!" hahaha crazy nail polish lady!

Anyways, the formula is amazing and the color... Mmm yummy! Looks like dusty cocoa with lovely, lovely shimmer through it. I still can not decide what color is the shimmer, sometimes its red, sometimes is copper and sometimes semi pink.

Sable Collar is just sooo lovely, Im really happy I took it home. And I have a bonus picture just cause I really, really, really, like this one! :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Nanacoco's White Witch.

Hello!

So I love black and white glitter. Like, LOVE it. I keep on buying different ones but can not seem to find the one that I will like 100%, either the glitter pay off is poor or the black glitter ratio is much bigger than ratio for white glitter. Very annoying.
I stumbled upon White Witch by Nanacoco on Kelli's blog. I fell in love and had to order it right away. Boy, so right I was to do it! The glitter pay off is lovely but not so thick so it actually gives a nice extra and doesnt overwhelm the manicure:

Excuse the bubbles on my ring and pinky fingers. This was actually the last mani I finished off with the damned Seche Vite and of course it had to bubble up like crazy. Urgh.

One coat of White Witch over H&M Concrete Me. On the index and middle fingers I did some distressed nail art in the same color palette.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Gold nude.

Hello there!

So, this post was suppose to come up yesterday but it was my Birthday so I didnt really have the time :)

Anyways, lately Ive been feeling a bit uninspired and that I had all the colors on my nails. I didnt want to repeat the color theme of my posts so I went for some nude - I also didnt want to have just "boring nude" on my nails so I added a bit of sparkle :)

Let me tell you, the photos doesnt do the mani its justice at all. My base color is Nude Skin by IsaDora and for the sparkle I added 2 thin coats of Essie As Gold As It Gets. LOVELY combination. Looked so much better in real life!

What do you think about this one?

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Love Crush + chevron

Hey there!

Today I have for you a treat - some chevrons! Its actually my first time doing them and I have to say that I love chevrons! They are so easy to do and so effective. They put a little extra to every mani which I really like.

The manicure features some new additions to my stash: Gold Crush and Love Crush by IsaDora. Both shades are textured and they are truly amazing. IsaDora did really well with their sugar crush shades, they have a lovely formula that dries really fast.

Lets begin with Love Crush cause its rather unique - its a red base with pink and golden particles. STUNNING. The pictures dont do this one justice in any way. I guess you can see some of the awesomeness in the bottle in this picture. In real life your nails sparkle with those beautiful colors.

The golden texture is Golden Crush. Simply golden base with golden particles. There are a few larger hexes in there which makes it sooo pretty!

If you are wondering how I did chevrons... Well I bought special scissors and some masking tape *wink wink* Im also aware that there are some ready chevron stripes on the market which makes it even easier. What do you think about this mani? Here is a picture that I posted on Instagram, well this one is in color :)

Thats it, I hope you liked what I created!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Zoya Carter - swatches and review.

Hello my lovely readers!

Todays post will be a quick one. Im going to show you Carter by Zoya

Wow... Amazing shade, ever since I saw it I wanted it, Carter has been on my wish list and then I finally chipped in and bought it. Im not disappointed at all. Here it comes:

Look at this one. This is definitely one of my favorites of all time - together with Zoya Chyna which Ill be posting about soon. I love this base color and the particle color. Vibrant, colorful and simply amazing. The one thing I liked less about Carter is drying time, its slower than the liquid sands of OPI or the sugar lacquers by IsaDora but nothing really bad. The clean up isnt bad either so yay for it!

If you like purple and texture polishes this is definitely the one you HAVE TO get. Its that simple.

Another thing I like about textures is that they are also beautiful with top coat or well... they should be at least! And Carter is beautiful:

Am I right ladies? This one is stunning and Ill be getting a back up of this. Just in case :)

OPI Tiffany Case - swatches and review.

Hey there!

Today I have for a a quick swatch of OPI Tiffany Case for you. I know its rather old news but its a new addition to my stash that I got on a Christmas sale in my local drug store. The reason I didnt get it earlier was that it reminded me a lot of OPI Get Your Number. Dont get me wrong they are definitely different but I figured why get 2 rather similar shades?

Then I got it and swatched it. I love it. Its different than GYM but formula wisely those 2 are similar. I dont even mind that I got Tiffany Case, its a very nice shade and Im happy I got it in my stash :)

Formula was amazing, drying time was also great - no surprises there.

Pastel-ish skittlette.

Hello there lovelies!

Today I have from you a mani that was sitting in my head for quite a while but I couldnt find the right colors for this. I finally found them while reorganizing my Helmer :) So my skittlette - I borrowed the name from lovely Marta from ChitChatNails that also showed us how to do those but I did my own version of this technique/design. And yes I went for some pastels cause I want the bad and cold winter to go away!

Dont mind the fact that my camera freaked out when I was taking pictures of this mani, there was so much shine and sparkle that it scared the life out of my poor iPhone.

On my index and middle finger I did a simple gradient with Gina Tricot Shimmer Mint, OPI Gargantuan Green Grape and China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, followed by a coat of L'oreal Platinum Chic. I needed something even more shiny so I painted 2 easy coats of OPI Your Royal Shine-Ness on my ring finger and a texture polish, cause I love me some textures, on my pinky in IsaDora Purple Crush.

This one came out even more blurry and out of focus, sorries!

I managed to get ONE decent picture, yay me :(
Anyways, what do you think about this one? Is it too much? Let me know!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Minimalistic splatter nails.

Hello lovelies!

Today I have for you a little bit of nail art I did the other day. There is something about splatter nails that I just adore and I really dont care much for the mess I create while doing this. Splatter is one of those designs I do rather often and today I have a minimalistic one for you :) Onto the pictures:

I started off with a black base on all of my nails besides my ring finger, the base is Orly Liquid Vinyl. I did the splatter with Essie Blanc which was also the base for my ring finger. I added a coat of China Glaze Its a Trap-eze! to give my mani a bit of color :)

So what do you guys think? Do you like it?

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

First of the year!

Hello there!

Wowza! 2014 huh? Ive been such a bad blogger those last few weeks, every single time I sat down to write a post I felt so uninspired and tired and who knows what else. Everything I wrote felt like a such a failure I dont know why though. Even this post, besides long overdue, wasnt even suppose to be the first of the year.

The real 1st of the new year was suppose to be a post about my top 10 polishes of 2013 but I also got stuck on it and couldnt get on with it. I promise the post is coming!

Anyways this one ended up going to the blog as first cause I did the mani (I keep my nails painted almost always, I just cant get myself to write about it) and posted a pic of it on Instagram. I did kind of promise to put it up on the blog but no, I never got around of doing it. Tonight though, here it comes :)

This mani was inspired by very talented Maggie from Maggies_Manicures, she did an incredible job with this mani and when I saw it I immediately knew I had to try to recreate it. Gradient on my index and middle finger is done with OPI I saw... U saw... We saw... Warsaw (by the way, this shade is very close to my heart cause I was born and raised near Warsaw in Poland and Im a little bit home sick + the shade is amazing so), IsaDora Surfers Paradise and Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau. The black and white glitter topper is Gina Tricot Salt & Pepper. Ring finger and pinky is coated with a thick coat of ORLY Liquid Vinyl (surprise there huh) and Kleancolor Blue Eyed Girl.

It was a fun mani to wear but I had trouble with Seche, its giving me hell lately and I hate it. Here is the picture that I took and posted on Instagram, with a new hand pose Im thinking to keep for longer:

I think the hand pose in the last picture is very nice and I like it more than the normal ones I take but I find it hard to keep it this way and dunno. Im weird.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx
