Summer Challenge day 25 - Summer water marble.

Water marble - I love water marbling! This time I got some bubbles but I still like the mani :) See for yourselves:

Colors are summery for me, I dont think that summer only includes pinks, reds and yellows. This mani reminds me of water a bit so lets go with that, shall we? :D

This time I wasnt lucky while doing it. On my middle finger theres an air bubble, top coat smeared the nail polish on my ring finger and I had an accident with my pinky! And yes, my skin is still in huge need of moisturizing but Im working on it!

Summer challenge day 24!

YES, I skipped a lot of days of the challenge. I dont remember when was the last time I has so busy time :| Not to babble anymore Ill proceed to my newest mani: Underneath the stars. Such a lovely theme! I thought Id go for stars on a black background but instead I did err.. either very early starry night or sunset with stars! Well I cant say the sunset with stars looks exactly like I did it but hey! It does in my head :D

As you can see I had a little accident with my index finger but shhh :)

I made one more picture in a bit of shadow to show you how good my mani looks indoors! (I used very shiny nail polishes so in the sunlight they are amazing but for once I wanted my mani to have the same effect when Im home - so instead of taking a picture with my nails facing the sunlight I stood with my nails facing shadows. This is the outcome:

For me it does look like a bright blue sky that transforms into the night full of glowing stars :) Hope you guys like it! xx

Black over black!

Yes, you read it right :) I thought a bit about idea of different texture mani and came up with that:

I liked the idea of using matte top coat to create something different, yes I know, Im not the first one to try :)

Nonetheless this is my mani and Im really happy with it! You can clearly see that this is just all black nails - except ring finger - but when you get closer you see more than just black polish!

I was thinking what to do with my ring finger cause I wanted to make an accent nail and I did dots (Aw, those simple dots..) but I put them there on the matte top coat! I could actually do whole mani like this: matte base and stripes/dots glittering in the sun :) So fancy!

Today is monday and I really like that this special mani is with me when this week starts! :)

Football nails? YES!

Yes well, Instead of doing summer challenge today I decided to do nails for UEFA EURO 2012. For those who dont know what in the world that is well, its a football competition :D Although Im not so into the whole football thing, today my home country is playing - Poland. So I decided that I have to do something that shows my support for Polish football team even though I live in Sweden. Here it is:

Very simple and yet I like it :) 

Sorries for lack of summer challenge post, Im quite busy at the moment so I do my nails really rarely :( I do have to change that cause it feels like something is missing!

Summer Challenge day 14 - Gardening

Yes, I skipped day 13 cause I felt very uncreative. Im still feeling this way even though I came up with a pretty nice nail art for today. (read yesterday cause Im late with it) No more babbling, here is my design:

My boyfriend said that those remind him of passion fruit but I dont know, I kind of went for flowers but either way it suits the theme :) I tried one stroke technique and I like it. Simple and the effect is gorgeous!

Its my first ever attempt at one stroke nail art so its not prefect! Im just going to keep on practicing and it will be ok :)

Summer Challenge day 12 - HOT HOT HOT combo

Im so angry right now.. I was writing a post and then my internet connection just went to hell. Lost my WHOLE post and I wrote so nicely! :( Now I gave up and Im only gonna put up my manis! Here it is, day 12 of the summer challenge. HOT HOT HOT!

Well.. This isnt that hot but well :) I recently purchased 5 nail polishes of a Swedish company called "NORDIC CAP of Sweden" and among them was this gorgeous nude color with a bit of shimmer in it. I knew that this polish was going to be the first one to swatch and I promise Ill swatch it in near future but now I used it as a base for this mani.

As I was doing my mani I thought to myself "What havent I done in a while?" and the answer to it was french tips! I didnt want my mani to be boring so I made my french tips with gradient. I quite like how it turned out to be, do you?

I also added a simple slower to my thumbs and ring fingers.

Summer Challenge day 11 - Pink + Blue day

Pink and blue - this combo is just awesome.
So many ideas, so little finger nails! So I decided that for todays mani Ill do a water marble. I love it. Colors got mixed up somehow and I got a hint of purple in there :) I added some dots to make the mani even more fun, heres the result:

On my middle finger my top coat smeared the biggest dot so I just painted it over and added more top coat he he, yes I got lazy!

Polishes I used were:
Depend Pink Neon (the polish is very old and the number on it is no longer there)
