Cloud mani on a cloudy day.

Hey there!

Todays post features a look that popped into my mind for a while back but well it didnt come out as good as I would like it to. Anyways, onto the mani:

So my cloud is kind of awkward-looking but never mind :) As my base color I used KICKS Make Up in Miss Preppy and the cloud is in Essie Blanc (white) and KICKS Make Up in Philosophy (grey).

Stripes!

Hey ladies!

Today is going to be one of those days that I have lots to do yet too little time for it all. That being said I may proceed to the post now :)

As you can see this is a very quick mani - thats how much I had time for. I started off with 2 coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff, added striped tape and followed with 2 coats of Depend #347.

Watercolor nails + black glitter.

Hello ladies!

Lately Ive been awed by all those beautiful watercolor manis so I decided I will do one myself. I dont own many pastels but I was able to pick a few brights that looked well together. Onto the mani then:

For the base I used Essie Blanc to make the color stand out more. For the watercolor design I sponged randomly blobs of Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty (yellow), Depend 347 (peach), Depend 354 (pink-ish), China Glaze Tart-y For The Party (purple), Color Club Take Me To your Chateau (blue) and Essie Wheres My Chauffeur (teal). When this was dry I used 2 coats of Nubar Black Polka Dot.

Do you like it? For me this mani is very summery and I just love it, dont know how am I going to bring myself to take this off :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

How do I spice up a soft shade?

Hello ladies!

Todays post features a question I had in mind for a while. How do I spice up a soft shade but kind of office-friendly?

Well, of course theres a jelly sandwich, a bit of glitter on the tips or good old accent nail. Ive been there before and I dont want my nails to be boring so I came up with this:

I picked a soft shade as my base, which is H&M Mon Amie. I wanted my mani to be as little boring as possible so I added colorful stamping. For the stamping I picked this cute image from Bundle Monster plate BM-309. Colors of the stamps are, from lightest to darkest: Accessorize Jewel (golden metallic), Maybelline NY 465 (copper metallic) and H&M Fabulous Nails Honey (burgundy red metallic).

Im not entirely sure of this mani is so office-friendly but I know I would wear it anyways :) Would you?

Rainbow on my fingers, just in time for Spring!

Hello there lovelies!

I was in the mood for something sparkly and very colorful. I was going to make a rainbow gradient or something in that alley but decided against it when I saw China Glaze It's A Trap-eze! in my stash. I mean the polish has a rainbow inside :D

I thought about spicing my mani up a bit with an accent nail but what to do while the polish itself is very "in your face"? I went for good old black and here is the result:

Doesnt It's A Trap-eze! look nice with black nail polish? I think so :) For my accent nails I used Orly Liquid Vinyl.

I gotta say, It's A Trap-eze! is definitely one of my favorites and its perfect for summer.

Who needs a jelly sandwich? I sure do!

Hello ladies!

For todays post I have for you a jelly sandwich. Lately Ive been trying to do something more unique on my nails other than gradients so I figured why not a jelly sandwich :)
Let us proceed to the pictures:

I used OPI Fly and China Glaze Make A Spectacle for this mani. Let me tell you, this looks incredible in real life!

Kleancolor Blue-Eyed Girl - Swatches and review!

Hello there!

Today I have for you a mani that is really a swatch! Confusing huh? Yeah, well I want to show you Kleancolor shade - Blue-Eyed Girl

As you can see from the bottle on the picture above, Blue-Eyed Girl is a blue yelly packed with metallic blue medium-sized hexes and blue fine glitter. I did not try to build up this polish to wear it alone but instead I layered it over a back base. This picture doesnt do its justice (yeah, bad focus) but in real life is truly stunning!

Drying time of Blue-Eyed Girl is quite ok. Ive worn this mani in almost a week and believe it or not, I had just some tip wear - no chipping!

Kleancolor polishes have that specific smell to them and I recommend you to get over it cause they got many shades worth having, including some holos :) I hope you liked it!

Tart-y For The Party nail art!

Hello ladies!

Today I have for you simple but cute mani I was going to wear for this Easter.

I used China Glaze Tart-y For The Party as a base on all my fingers besides my ring finger - there I used Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau and topped it with Tart-y For The Party with saran wrap method. Then I added 2 coats of Laka Manicure Confetti on my middle and ring finger. I liked it a lot :)

Dont mind the bubbles on my middle finger, my top coat ran its course then :) I hope you liked my Easter mani (that is before I decided to do a dotticure instead)!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx
