Neon yellow lace.

Hello lovelies!

I hope you are having a good beginning of the week! Today I have another neon manicure for you -  its already third one!

I started off with a white base for this mani (as I usually do when Im about to use neon colors on my nails) then added 2 coats of Python Green by Gina Tricot. Python Green is very unique, it has a pearly finish to it. That was the main reason why I bought it in the first place, Im not into pearly finishes so much but this one is very unusual. When this was dry I stamped a image from Bundle Monster plate MB314. Here is the result:

I really enjoyed this mani! I didnt think I would but the combination of neon and lace is amazing. Im sure thats not end of it.

Did you like this manicure? Would you wear something similar to this? Let me know!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Neon gradient with a sparkle!

Hello there!

I hope you are having a great Friday! Today I have for you something very bright and shiny, second neon inspired manicure. See for yourselves:

As you can see, my camera went crazy and instead of capturing the brightness of the colors, it hid in the corner and cried, which saddens me lots. I have no clue why the polish on my ring finger came out this way, the polish Im holding is Shiney Coral by HOTmakeup. On the right side of my ring finger nail the color is true. Bottle looks more pink than it really is.

I started off with a white base and mixed my neon-ish colors: (from left to right) Golden Rose Sweet Color 62 (green), Gina Tricot Python Green (yellow),  HOTmakeup Shiney Coral (peach) and IsaDora Power Pink (pink). Since Python Green has a pearly finish I covered the gradient with H&M Jo Is In The House. The holographic particles are kind of big so this picture looks at least weird. Im aware, but boy! So much holo in the sun! The brights looked amazing in the sun.

The picture is taken on purpose, to show you how much it shines in the right lighting. I was photographing the manicure at night so there was no sun to help me get this picture.

Keep out for the next neon inspired mani :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

A bit of neon maybe?

Hello ladies!

Uff this last week was horrible. Lots of studying + even more studying! Now Im done (for now) and Im back to doing my nails :)

Since the weather has been nice for past few weeks I decided to get some bright neons on my nails. I have a few manis that I would love to collect together and make them into a "Neon Week". Im willing to give it a try but as you know I dont post everyday so it would rather be "Neon manis when-I-actually-post Week". So maybe instead of labeling it I will just go for it and not call it anything?

Anyways, today is first of my neon manis. It features a neon pink that I recently purchased and didnt realize that its a neon until I actually put it on my nails. Im talking about IsaDora Power Pink.

Power Pink is a jelly like, pink neon. I was surprised when it covered nicely in 2 coats. Formula is amazing and it dries fast. I love it. I really hope that this doesnt stain my nails as now Im rid of my stained nails and Im willing to show them to you (hence my cut-out accent nail). Accent nail was done with some striping tape, Power Pink and Lilac Bikini by IsaDora. Ill swatch Lilac Bikini asap!

So how did you like the cut-out accent nail? Until now Im still not loving it but I did want to try it :) How about you, do you rock any neons yet?

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Nude base + a jelly sandwich, with stars!

Hey ladies!

I recently purchased a few polishes from (new to me at least) Swedish company called HOTmakeup that makes all kinds of cosmetics and of course nail polish too. One of the polishes I bought was a true beauty. A glitter bomb in a clear base. You may be thinking why is this so unique? Well let me show you:

Now, I layered Stars and Dots (that is the name of the glitter) by HOTmakeup over Nordic Cap NP06 (nude) to show you this amazing, fine copper glitter. Probably there is plenty polishes with copper glitter but I havent seen any yet so when I saw this I knew I had to buy it! In the Stars and Dots there are also blue small hexes and small holographic stars. I totally love it! The blue glitter is bright and it complements the copper glitter beautifully. Stars are always welcome :)

So this is the beauty, I totally fell for it when I saw it so there it is :) Do you like Stars and Dots?
This wasnt a real review of it but I really wanted to share this with you! I didnt get paid by the company to do this so no mistakes there.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

IsaDora Hot Hibiscus - Swatches & review!

Hey there!

Today I have for you a swatch of a polish that has been released last year but its re-released this year! Im talking about Hot Hibiscus by IsaDora. Sit back and check out this neon-ish gorgeous polish!

Hot Hibiscus is a red neon with pink undertones. Its absolutely stunning and kind of hard to capture on a picture. The formula is a bit on a thin side but nothing that bad, careful application will prevent from any patches. Two easy coats in the pictures + good drying time.

Now I expected Hot Hibiscus to stain my nails like crazy but nothing like that happened! Just be careful with removing this polish cause it may stain your cuticles (like it happened to me)!

Overall Im pleased with this shade. IsaDora improved on the formulas of their nail polishes (newer shades only) but this one is not that bad considering that this is the older shade :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

One year blog anniversary! Now & then.

Hello there lovelies!

Roughly one year ago I decided its time for me to create a blog and that is exactly what I did! I cannot believe how long way Ive come with everything: my technique, clean up and even shape of my nails!

I wanted to present you with something special, a now & then manicure. Let me tell you, the mani itself is not that hard to accomplish but it still symbolizes how much better Ive become!

First of all, there is the picture then:

This is still with a coat of gel on my nails that I myself tried to fix "my own way" that didnt really come out the way I wanted. I knew then that this wasnt by any means perfect but I was beyond myself with excitement cause I tried it and was then happy with it.

And the same manicure now:

Lots of things improved if I do say so myself. First of all the health of my nails. They have come a long way from gel nails for about a year to this, natural, healthy, moisturized nails today. Then the technique of me doing my (and my friends + family) nails. Everything looks way more classy and simply good.

Im kind of proud of myself and more happy that I decided to create a blog. Ive met plenty of amazing women that are not afraid of doing what they love, despite their age, preferences or nationality.

Now I know that it would be awesome if I hosted a giveaway cause of my anniversary and that I intend to do. Just not yet. Im extremely busy with my school + I would love to give to the lucky people something they will sure enjoy so keep on checking my blog for more info!

Thank you for bearing with me through my process of learning everything and I hope you enjoyed your stay! Thank you my dear followers for those gorgeous comments that encourage me to keep up with the blog. Now I will invite you to keep on checking out my manis cause maybe, just maybe, you will find some inspiration here! Thanks for stopping by! :) xx

IsaDora Scuba Blue stamped + 2 announcements!

Hello lovelies!

Before I show you my mani I have an announcement for you. My camera broke! I dont know how long it will take before I get this one fixed or get a new one but it should not be longer than 2 weeks. Besides I borrowed a camera from my boyfriend so everything should be fine here on the blog!

Another news is way better: Polish My Mind just joined facebook! If you wish to, here is a direct link to Polish My Mind's facebook page.

The last manicure I photographed before my camera broke is this one:

This is IsaDora Scuba Blue. A beautiful, kind-of dusty periwinkle blue. I added a cloud stamp from Bundle Monster - plate BM-312 with Konad Special Polish in white.

I really like how it turned out but I wanted to see how it looks like with a matte top coat. I loved the result, did you?

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Pastel leopard? Why not!

Hello there!

I hope your Monday was not as awful as Mondays can be :) Todays post features more pastels and a leopard print which I definitely wear not enough! Onto the mani then:

This gorgeous mint shade is Shimmer Mint by Gina Tricot. As you can see on the bottle it has amazing golden shimmer to it but my camera could not capture it :( Two easy coats of Shimmer Mint on my nails besides my ring finger - there I used Tart-y For The Party by China Glaze as base. Then added leopard print with opposite colors and a black polish.

I gotta say, I totally loved this mani. Every time I wear leopard print I wonder why dont I do it more often. Did you like it? Or is it too much for your taste? Let me know!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Old but gold.

Hello ladies!

Todays mani is extremely simple. Lately Im feeling very unfocused and cant wrap my head around anything so when the time came to change my mani all I could think of was that purple is my favorite color. I did not want to have plain purple nails so I added a golden accent nail.
This is how it turned out:

This is, reviewed before, Golden Rose #210 (you can check the post here - and be kind, it was one of my first reviews!). A beautiful, red-based purple with golden shimmer. As for my accent nail I used Ivory by Max Factor.

Like I said, its very simple, yet I loved it so much that I had it on for about 3 days!

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx
